Education in oral health is fundamental, so we will fully inform you about any issues and help you to understand all the relevant information in keeping your teeth and their foundation healthy.
Meet Our Team
Leasa Cairns
Leasa works as our Practice Manager and Dental Assistant and has been working with us since this practice was bought.
Her work experience includes 25 plus years of chairside and reception experience. Leasa started as a DA almost straight out of school and completed her certificate in Dental Assisting. She worked in a large surgery where she was soon promoted to Senior Dental Assistant in charge of six other DAs. Wanting a change, she moved into reception. Around 10 years ago she started working at this practice for the previous dentist. Being a small practice, she had the role of DA and Receptionist together with most management duties. Leasa’s role at Eagle Heights Dental Care is mostly as front office manager but still loves to help with chairside and assist the dentist from time to time
When Leasa isn’t working she likes spending time with her two children and husband. Leasa also trains in a few styles of martial arts both up here on the mountain with her children and also on the coast.
Vivienne Lovett
Vivienne works as our Dental Assistant and Receptionist. She has been with us since this practice started.
After finishing school, she worked as a Dental Assistant for a few years and qualified as a NZ DA. Moving away forced a change and Vivienne became a private secretary for many years and then she emigrated to Australia and ran an office equipment business. Since then Vivienne has been a Jillaroo, Governess, Client Liaison Officer and an Office Manager. Over the years she has also worked as a temporary DA in local surgeries when possible. She loves working locally and enjoys the more personable environment of a smaller workplace.
Outside work Vivienne loves to spend time in the kitchen baking as well as making preserves. Whenever possible she enjoys catching up with her children and friends. When time allows, her other passions include painting, quilting and gardening.
